This is my first mouse pad, I don’t really know/care about the differences in mouse pads. I ordered this mouse pad because I didn’t want to order the same original steelseries mouse pad that my brother had and it’s a great product. Great design and awesome look. My mouse glides very smoothly across the surface of this pad. I don’t mind paying $2.00 extra to show that I play SC2. 5/5 stars for a great design and the fact that it does what it’s meant to do. *Also, it came in its own display-like case (it wasn’t rolled up as the original mouse pad is, or so I’ve read).
